For example, this short I would have embedded on GLP by changing its URL like this

Video embedding is a forum problem, not Youtube's IMHO. But that said, embedding works with the normal shorts URLs too on GLP, so maybe it works here too? And if it doesn't work that way, I discovered a long time ago it works if you change the shorts URL into a common YT URL (it's not hard to do).

I tried 2 or 3 things to embed the short. Nothing worked. Maybe on LOP.

I have slow "satellite" internet and little patience -- sometimes I click out of videos and sites which start off with ads and other yuuuge wastes of my valuable time. Try to get a simple recipe nowadays. arrgghhh, after a food history lesson and assorted idle chitchat, more ads, more junk. happy talk.

As I said, embedding shorts works on GLP too, and I discovered it by just changing the URL to a normal Youtube URL. But I think GLP lets you embed shorts now even using their own URL.

Talk? Yeah, talk about it.

Imagine the huge amounts of time wasted on the internet (and on Youtube in particular), and the huge amounts of energy consumed at the same time....
