I'm retired and was self employed.

But I can understand your position .

Easiest job I got.
I waited in the office till the owner came in.

I stood up shook his hand and said my name is ,,,, ,,, and I want to work for you.
He looked me up and down asked if I had a criminal record .Then hired me .
Total 30second job interview.

i'm working on similar technologies at work (don't worry - right now only big companies can afford this stuff. also don't ask me stuff about my work - i'm not allowed to disclose any details). recruiters will be able to find the right candidate out of thousands of applicants with ease with the aid of technology. it's scary though because it will literally filter everyone out who isn't a good match for the job based on previous job experience etc - not leaving any room for career changers and people who don't have a lot of experience (of course there's still the HR person who's making the final decision but people get lazy and trust technology way too much). for instance i would have had no chance or only a slim chance starting a career in software development a couple of years ago if one of those algorithms decided about my fate i guess (i worked in a completely different field before).
